In 2002, Jones Soda Co. ® and Panera Bread ® tested selling Jones Soda products at approximately 100 Panera ® bakery-cafes. Wanting to offer something even better than our regular line, we worked together to produce a customized Jones Soda series. We created six flavors of Panera custom-made Jones Soda, featuring photo artwork and a story provided by Panera Bread associates. The photos chosen for the first series communicated Panera’s passion for bread and the text gave credit to their “bread photographers.” The Panera Signature Series was born!

As of 2006, we offer six soda flavors and three Naturals flavors to Panera customers. We continue to regularly rotate the label art, selecting photos supplied by Panera associates for the Panera Signature Series bottles. These bottles are sold exclusively at Panera Bread and St. Louis Bread Co. bakery-cafe locations in the United States.

The goal of the program has been to deepen the customers’ connection to the Panera experience through its beverages and breads.
